Scope & General Purpose of Job: To assist the General Manager in the smooth and effective operation of the departments within the Hotels, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and adhering to the standards required by the hotel.

Responsible to: General Manager
Responsible for these departments:

  • Reception desk
  • Housekeeping
  • Concierge/ Security
  • Accounts/ Admin


  • Education: Tourism or Foreign Language University/College Graduate
  • Skills:
  • Fluent in English
  • Good computer skills in: Word, Excel, email, internet;
  • Hotel Management Software (is a prioririty)
  • Gender/Age: Male or Female under 30 years old
  • Experience: at least 2 years’ working experience in Tourism and Hospitality industry
  • One year’s experience as front desk supervisor and/or assistant manager (This is an advantage).


  • Good communication & inter-personal skills
  • Good appearance, well groomed and effective performance
  • Being able to learn & train new staff in all departments
  • Knowledge of Hotel Management software is a plus
  • Planning, organization & leadership skills
  • Being able to work under pressure & willing to work long hours
  • Having a pleasing personality, being courteous, sociable, friendly, flexible and diplomatic
  • Being able to work in a unified Team
  • Being able to adapt to any changes in the Hotel
  • Being able to complete any other assignment as designated by the General Manager
